ActiveSync Tester tool Released
The AccessMyLan Team have released a free ActiveSync Tester tool that helps diagnose connectivity issues when deploying ActiveSync handsets. We originally developed the tool to assist our customers but decided to make it available to all given the number of cries for help on forums to decipher ActiveSync error codes on handsets.
The windows tool emulates an ActiveSync handset and when an issue is detected, will highlight the error and provide a link to pages on AccessMyLan.com that give diagnostic and resolution information. Issues such as certificate problems, configuration of ActiveSync on Exchange and basic connectivity are diagnosed by the tool.
The tool can be downloaded from AccessMyLan and also from SoftPedia and Tucows.
